In reference to BB's comment:

This type of thought is rampant among liberals.  You believe that
your opinions are arrived at by unbiased thought, but anyone who
disagrees with you has a hidden, unpure bias.  How elitist it is to
think you've cornered the market on analysis, and you alone hold
it.  No need to even consider the other man's point of view, because
you are convinced you are right. Pure elitism.

Yeah right Tommy.  You're guilty of this quite often in your column, e.g., "dummycrats."

"Rampant among liberals"?  I would say that "rampant" among Rove Repubs is the tactic of repeating something (dis-information) often enough until it is accepted as fact: "Reagan ended Communism," (simplistic), "WMD," creationism is science, ad infinitum.

And for those who disagree with you, you respond with the jingoistic "Love it or leave it!"

"Elitism"?  Cornered the market? Days ago you posted something to the effect that all standards in music and art were ravaged in the 60's.  The conservative lament about standards is old hat if you know any history about art and music criticism.  But Rovie Repubs know that it is a consistent winning strategy.

When you resort (lower yourself) to such devices here, but much more so in your columns, you're actually exposing the speciousness of your more detailed and lawyerly arguments.

In the Age of Rove, I can't resist this reference: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." -  Joseph Goebbels

By the way just because Fishman fired you isn't proof that he
doesn't pay.

So, since Larry fired you, do you have a job?
