It appears Joe knows by Jove.

After an eternity of denial of his very identity, Nancy Shields has
outted the blind bishop; who'd a thunk it?

Though it remains doubtful that Tom DeSeno will soon identify himself
on bluebishop82's profile, as that would open the good lawyer to the
embarrassment of Google tying his nonsensical web rants to his law
practice, he has left a cyber trail for those hoping to discover the
workings of his fevered imagination.

Chalk up one for Nancy.

`"Deputy Mayor Jim Bruno voted against the pay-to-play ban, and said
he agreed in part with arguments put forward by Tom DeSeno, a city
lawyer and friend of Bruno, who claims the ban is unconstitutional.
DeSeno has a contract with the city to do workers' compensation cases
that come up, and is restricted on how much he can give to candidates'
campaigns or city and county political committees. "You're voting to
restrict the speech rights of certain individuals," he said, adding
later that the city "is setting yourself up for a constitutional
challenge." Heather Taylor, spokeswoman for Citizens' Campaign, said
the developers' professionals do have to disclose under the current
law and the possibility of losing a contract in the city seemed like a
strong incentive for developers not to funnel money through their
professionals. Keady, Johnson and Loffredo approved the new ban. Bruno
voted against it."'

And `apparently' from the very hand of our blind bishop:

"To read the AP Press column on pay-to-play today, Nancy gives the
following impression: 1. I am against the bans because I'm restricted
from giving money to the City Council; and 2. Jim Bruno voted against
it, to support me, because we are "friends."
Good Grief!!! I'm glad many of you were there to hear differently!
Here is what I did argue:"
