Maybe more people would voice their opinions on saving the Baronet if they actually saw the theater. A lot of people who never stepped inside have voiced their opinions.
Here's your chance. It's open all day and late tonight - Saturday 7/15 - and they'll be live music after 8 PM.
Please pass the word: The Asbury Park City Council votes next Wednesday, July 19, on whether to save or demolish the Baronet, literally the last picture show in Asbury Park, which was once home to 6 theaters. From 1953, the Baronet was owned by Walter Reade, who also had a home in Asbury Park. PLEASE COME OUT TO CITY HALL, MAIN ST AND BANGS, WED. AT 7 PM
