Built in 1913, the Ocean Theatre quickly became a popular Vaudeville venue. It was purchased by the Walter Reade Circuit and renamed The Baronet.
Now it's back! The newly renovated Art Deco Baronet Theatre is open for business and will be a source for film and live entertainment as long as there is a support for the arts in the community of Asbury Park.
