They were single family homes. Not chopped up cubicles for warehousing 
the less fortunate to colect section 8 funds. True mutlifamiles or 
those that are up to code should be fine. You just have to convince the 
new owner. were they looking for a "beach" home or for an  investment.

The city had and still has plenty of opportunity to build affordable 
housing. Start at Spingwood, then the block at Landford and 2nd then 
work the way around Dewitt. Then you have the scatttered sites etc.

Look at long branch, they managed to knock down "low income" housing 
and rebuild it. Decent looking homes etc. A mini version of the beloved 
pier village.
