Sometimes it's not where you live, but where you do business and what else impacts your daily life and life of your own community, kids and the future. So how should I feel if I'm driving down 2nd ave and a kid throws a rock at my car at 10:30 am on a school day on my way to my AP accountant or think about walking down cookman after visting my AP attorney or brining a client to property I am selling for a client in AP in what SHOULD be a good spot, and soon will be.
So if I ride my bike down the boardwalk, stop and eat or stop and visit or just drive through..or think about the past fun I had in AP - I guess that drives some of us. Sure where our taxes get spent is a concern - but that is simply out of control. More interested in watching a town come back to life. You never know, maybe I'll be a resident sooner or later. Just might become a tenant in a particular o front condo, if I can get a good rental and my kids are out of college. That's 7 yrs. Been 4 or 5 since we started this conversation. Time flies.
