BREAKING NEWS: Fifth suspect sought in Asbury Park gang slaying

ASBURY PARK Prosecutors have charged a fifth person, who is
currently a fugitive, in a December gang-related murder of a 21-year-
old woman in Asbury Park.
Shalyce M. Davis, 21, of Asbury Park, is charged with murder and
conspiracy to commit murder in the Dec. 5 fatal shooting of Latyria
M. Nealy, of Neptune. Authorities are searching for Davis.
"We are actively seeking to apprehend Shalyce M. Davis in connection
with her role in the murder of Ms. Nealy and request the public's
assistance in providing information leading to her capture,"
Prosecutor Luis A. Valentin said in a prepared statement.
Four others - all identified as Bloods gang members - have already
been charged in Nealy's death. Nealy was also a gang member and
prosecutors say the shooting stems from a dispute within the same set
of the Bloods gang.
Police found Nealy with a gunshot injury in the rear parking lot of
the Frederick
Douglas Apartment complex on Mattison Avenue after receiving a 911
call at 9:37 p.m.
