Gary,

you're right, the new font does look great. I've taken the liberty of
redesigning the inside of the paper as well as the cover. Maybe you
should hire me so I can make your paper look better. First of all if
someone sends in a letter that sucks or if we don't have the space or
if it comes in late, we're not going to print it. We do have deadlines
Gary, just one of our many standards. But aside from that...

Your numbers really don't mean anything. You still never seem to get
bigger than 26 pages. And yes we do have our audience, a very big one
at that. Lets not forget that we don't just cover Asbury. I don't know
anyone who reads Upstage other than to flip through it and throw it in
the garbage. Eddie Murphy is Back (from you recent issue)? Are you
serious? What does he have to do with anything in this area - you put
him on the cover no less. And you have the nerve to make comments
about the triCityNews? Plus you print syndicated articles from Kam
Williams that 100 other papers print. Very original Gary I must say.

Hey I'm not trying to be an asshole but you're the guy always making
comments on this board about triCity so I'm gonna fire back at ya.
"The triCityNews. Does it really matter?" Remember that one Gary.

And fortunately for us we don't have a sales department because we
don't need one. Why? Because all of the advertising comes to us.
Interesting. We must not be very well read. Or, get this Gary, we must
actually be doing something right. Lets not forget that Dan is one
very smart guy as well as myself and editor Steven Froias. We know
what we're doing. As for Tommy, I can't stand the crap he writes as
much as the next guy. Hey Tommy, hope you're reading this. Update that
justifiedright.com website for Christ's Sake.

Bottomline, we are here to help Gary, just ask every business we've
ever profiled. Ask them how well they did as a result of our coverage
of them. Go ask Gary (a different Gary) down at Sister Sue's how well
the triCityNews has helped his business. Have you been there yet? If
not go and support him.

And go ask the countless other businesses, artists, musicians,
nonprofits, etc. how much we've helped. Go ask Ross at America's Cup
how he got interested in Asbury and what inspired him to open his shop
on Cookman. He'd tell you it was the triCityNews and what he read in
the paper that got him interested. He used to call us once a month
about 2 years before he opened to get our opinions on if he should
open a coffee shop downtown. Our answer was of course yes. I could
tell you a thousand other stories just like that one. So yes Gary,
we're here to help.

If you've got something to say, email us. Don't worry, we won't print
it because I'm sure it won't be very interesting.
