Sharon,

I think Tommy has given you the info to prove his statement and if you
do some resesearch on your own or attend next thursdays zoning board
meeting what you will find out is that the mission WILL DEFINITELY BE
A BURDON to our already overburdoned police, fire and emt
services not to mention draining any of our social service funds that
we currently have and use for OUR homeless and resident needy. If we
wait until this place is already established the damage will be done
and we will have countless new problems roaming aimlessly through our
streets to deal with.

As to the statement that you made about our current Police force and
the anxiously awaited new officers being abusive to Blacks I cannot
disagree with you more.....the prior administration headed up by two
black men was far more abusive to ALL residents in every way.....so I
encourage you to take your own advice and tread lightly and stop
living in the past and try to look forward to a bright future for
everyone in Asbury.

If you want to stop someone from speaking up
here for lack of entitlement maybe it should be the self proclaimed
prophet that comes here from out of town, stirs up a bunch of
inflammatory nonsense and claims to have stopped the violence in this
town.
