There are no "crown shaped lights" on ConHall. The lights on the tower
are there to illuminate the flag on the flagpole. Just luck that the
profile of the water tower is back lighted by them.

Amazing that such excitement can be had from someone just flipping a
switch. Success, woopiee. Reality - someone just flipped a switch and
turned a light on.

When the water tower was replaced there were 2 lights placed at the
top for the flag and there was a light placed inside to shine through
the windows. They have been there all along.

This is not some great sign that progress is being made.

How about RESTORING the REAL lighting for ConHall. A series of great
copper lanterns around the antire roof line. What about RESTORING the
lighting the building was designed with. A marval of its time that
made the building appear as a great ship docked on the beach.

What about the RESTORING the interior lighting, the great chandeliers
that once hung in the arcade. What about the 3 color lighting system
of red, white and blue in the Theater and Hall?

Naaa, just flip a switch on some new lights that have been there for
years and get everyone all excited.

Sad,

Werner
