Question of the day -

When did Asbury's "music" scene really begin?

Arthur Pryor
and what in between to 1960's? In the 90's it was more or less dead,
right or wrong?

Did people come to AP for the BEACH or the MUSIC scene?

Did families come to GO TO THE BEACH and STAY IN MOTELS/Rooming houses?
Why? To get away from the heat. For something to do. No TVs.

If people come to AP for the music, will they stay for a weekend, or
come for the evening and drive home?

Interesting to see the UEZ is driving the marketing, if that's the
case. This would be the first time that the "downtown" merchants were
involved in the boardwalk in any way- if that's the case.
