They do read triCity. Remember a few years back triCity did an
editorial objecting to a condo called "The Rising." Bruce wrote a
letter to the editor of triCity the next week agreeing with us.
That's why today it is the "Esperanza."
It was pretty cool because after we ran it, the story got picked up
by the wire services and got published far and wide, mentioning
triCity as the paper Bruce wrote to.
Funny thing though - the AP Press ran the wire service story - but
edited out any reference to triCity. That made it seem like the
letter was to them.
We complained to Corp headquarters of Gannett, and actually got a
result.
By the way - Bruce has also been known to drop by the triCityNews
office now and again.
He's a fan ;-)
