Great post. Next time you are in the city i'd like to go on a photo expedition
with you.
I was at the Wonderbar tonight too, and it left me feeling very sad.
As I walked back home I couldn't help but think how slow the so called
redevelopment
actually is in our city.
Take the Esperanza for example. It's been a year and 4 months since C-8 was
demolished, and they are just barely getting the foundation completed.
When I lived in North Jersey, I saw several similar projects completed in the
same amount
of time.
I also heard rumblings of problems between Asbury Partners and MM this evening.
Personally, I think it's time to kick Asbury Partners to the curb and halt
their lame
redevelopment efforts and wholesale destruction of our once beautiful
oceanfront.
Think about those ridiculous AP Partner signs telling us about transforming the
city into
the jewel of the jersey shore, at no cost to the taxpayers...blah blah blah.
Can't this city find a way to stand up to Asbury Partners and get them out of
here?
