The Historical Society became a 'Political' issue. Can't have anyone critical of redevelopment you know. The Park was a "safe" project outside the bounds of the redevelopment. Over $32,000 has been spent on that to put things in perspective. That amount of $$$ could have mounted a significant lagal challange to the City to get a better plan for the public at large and save what was left. It morfed into a tea party club through political influence. They will not even fight to have the position of City Historian acknowledged. Werner Yahoo!
