I vision Disney with oversized archiectural elements. Bright colors, kiddie looking stylings. Fake facades, ones that look obvious fake on purpose almost. For me it's any of those homogenized looks; you might be anywhere in the USA; no local color. Similar to the mall's cafe area -- faux "boardwalk" -- then foolishly, they hang pictures showing AP's real bw from back in the day. Packaged nostalgia, like the decor in Appleby's, just makes me yearn even more for authenticity. Jimmys, not the Olive Garden. Nino's, not Panera's.
