Upscale or clean? Upscale shops perhaps. But some of those were there
during the original hometown days. The rest followed. Can you blame
Garmany for being in Red Bank and owning two of the best buildings?
Imagine if Garmany took over the Steinbach.... Red Bank jsuts happens
to sit around some wealthy communities and had a good base to start
with. Real estate as well was down and out and the downtown struggled
along. Like downtown AP, individuals came in, bought and rehabbed -
some failed, some succeed. Many many of red bank's buildings are
still around today - going back to Disney (...) - the two Eisner
Buildings - 54 Broad Street (home to restoration HW and 35,000 sq ft)
and The Galleria.

Buildings saved. Architecture playing close to the look and feel.
Slowing down traffic with streetscapes...
