I have to agree with Gary. The parking meters would be good for the city if 
they were 
properly implemented, but they weren't. It was confusing. And it's even more 
confusing 
that you can park in a lot for free, but you can also park in a confusing paid 
parking space  
, potentially screw up and wind up with a $26 ticket.
This whole situation is just bad PR for AP.
