I don't know where you got your information from, but I would like to see you validate it. The auto parts store that was once there was not the building owner.
As I understood it back in 1994 when we bought it. The outright civil rights violation by Long Branch in the C 1 zone of 1994 was a well thought out conspiracy. Unknown to me at the time, people were making big plans for lower Broadway. They were just waiting till the proces went so low. The present developer offered the owners $10,000 in 1994. I of course gave them what they wanted $40K. All for $30,000 Katz has gone through developer hell with our challenge and we are not done. On Nov 27, 2007 the tide turned. From 1994 to 11/2007 the city was ahead. From 11/2007 until eternity they lose!!! and lose big! The building is not unlucky, it is blessed!
