Jack you call me a jerk and say stop complaining about personalizing
in the same sentence.

Nice.

Not exactly on the issue yet.

Now you are on the issue.

The philosophy of the Redevelopment Plan is for year-round activity,
not the seasonal tourism of the past. The airport analogy is
relevant.

When I lived in AP there was a streetlight on the pole right at my
bedroom window, and the Freddie's Pizza sign right under that. I
didn't complain to the City or Freddie.

I bought a thick shade. Not a black-out shade. Just a normal thick
shade did the trick. I put it up in the morning, pulled it down at
night. I understood I lived in a small City.

I have shades on every window in my Howell house (we hicks do
have 'lectricity, you know).

I'll tell you why I don't live in Asbury Park, exactly as I have
made no secret of it for years:

Your schools suck. SUCK!!!!

Why? My pet complaint that anyone who knows me knows I care deeply
about - the state segregated Asbury Park High School by rece in 1996.

Think about that - a state sponsored racially segregated school,
same as in the pre-Brown south.

And what do you concerned activists want to complain about? The
inconvenience of a streetlight in your window.

Where are the 1960's styled Democrat Activists in the mold of Bobby
Kennedy to complain of this segregation? Saving the polar bears.

Where are the 1960's styled Republican Activists in the mold of
Martin Luther King, Jr to complain about this segregation? Fighting
over pay to play laws.

Activists my ass. Asbury Park wouldn't know an activist if he stole
their Birkenstock sandals.
