Let me preface this with I'm a Democrat - so I'm not someone who's politically inclined to defend Gov Christie. So with that said, if he does have a target on the AP school system, hasn't the school system really put the target there and doesn't it belong? If the school board had moved to address any of the real issues associated with the schools over the past say.... TEN YEARS... then the state wouldn't need to monitor the district and our decisions would be in our hands. At this point, only autocratic dictates are going to change anything - and no matter what the state does it's got to be better than the whole lot of nothing that the board is willing to do. Hell, they won't even show up for the vote! No offense to you Garrett, from what I've seen you've been one of the few whose tried to do the right thing for the right reason. --- In _AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com_ (mailto:AsburyPark@yahoogroups.com) , "oakdorf" <oakdorf@...> wrote: > > ..."Lets' face it we are a target as far as the Governor sees > it...." > >>>>>> > > Good. > > That's what i told my kids when they called me to tell me the ATM ate MY discover card that they took to go snowboarding.
