How did you install Apache::ASP without having MLDBM installed? The Makefile.PL installer is supposed to stop you from doing this.
Install MLDBM, and any other modules that Apache::ASP needs ( install Apache::ASP via normal Makefile.PL to find out what these are ).
Then see if it works for you. Remember to restart your apache web server at the end of all this ( stop/start it really )
