It is a SUPERB book. The lessons it offers are in C++ / C# / Java syntax but each refactoring idea can be applied to VB.net easily.
That and "Head first Design Patterns" and "From Developer to Coder" are the 3 books that have great potential to make a decent coder into a superb one.
