Working on Army Reserve and Army Guard hr/fin/personal .net frontend and sql backend applications. Stepping into enhancements phase. Customer face time will be had and new reqs will be gathered from time to time. Client can be very indecisive so being a "quick change artist" that is, very flexible is very important. The client changes their requirements from time to time. Reporting svc in sql. The candidate must have a solid background in web development using the latest Microsoft technologies, an excellent understanding of design techniques, and a strong knowledge of database (SQL Server) programming and design methodology. Ability to work with little or no supervision is a must. Good verbal and writing skills are required. The candidate is expected to be self-sufficient when it comes to working with Microsoft tools and be capable to find sources of information/help relevant to the latest .Net technologies. Key technologies: .Net, C#, ASPX, SQL Server 2000, T-SQL, Visual Studio .Net 2003, ADO.Net, and XML. Specific Requirements: Excellent understanding of .Net web development using Visual Studio .Net 2003 Minimum of 3 years of .Net (C#) web development 4+ years experience with SQL Server 2000, including development of stored procedures, triggers, and indexing, and good T-SQL programming practices Knowledgeable of object- oriented design and programming Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills Experience developing business automation and reporting web tools is desired.
