The Senior Programmer will play a key role in the engineering of OpsPlanner software products. This challenging and exciting position involves actively participating in major component analysis, design, architecture, development, review, testing, and deployment of web- based enterprise software. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly energetic, willing to learn new technologies and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team. This person must be able to work closely with tech leads, individual developers, technical writers, marketers, and customer support personnel in a cooperative but fast- paced environment. Key Responsibilities " Work with leads to create and maintain effective, well thought-out software designs. " Develop and thoroughly test software components to ensure high-quality delivery " Work with Quality Assurance to track down and fix bugs. " Assist in estimation and planning of software development efforts. " Keep pace with leading edge technology and rapidly proto type solutions. Qualifications: " The candidate should ideally have experience in designing and developing commercial software systems that are deployed at medium to large enterprises. " A minimum of 4 years of solid professional experience in developing web applications using ASP.Net, HTML and Javascript.. " Advanced programming skills in C# language and .Net framework are a must. " Strong knowledge and 4 years of professional experience in Object Oriented concepts. " Strong and experienced knowledge of SQL Server 2000 " Experience using standards based Web Services frameworks and related XML technologies such as XSLT and XPATH. " Experience with Crystal Reports is highly desirable. " Experience with advanced PDF generation technologies is highly desirable. " Strong knowledge and 4 years of professional experience in Object Oriented concepts. " Excellent software design and problem solving skills are required, with an ability to isolate complex issues and communicate them effectively. Successful candidates will also possess the ability to analyze system designs and implementation for performance and testability. " Proven ability to design and deliver complex, high-quality software on time. " High level of initiative and self-confidence along with strong verbal and written communication skills is important.
