As I understand, Bihu celebration on April 17, 2004 was isolated from the April 18 program. The 18 April program at ICC includes events as such:
Assam Day,
ICC regular activities e.g., table tennis, yoga, etc,
Manipur Day
- I have attended Assam Day from 3 PM.
During Satriya performance, as I observed about 85 people, some foreigners, occupied seminar room, but some women walked out with children before the start of Satriya.- Vaishnava names mutilation was not observed on any posters at ICC, thanks to organizers, but this abuse took place at ICC URL. This will probably become an issue as I see Satyajit Nath, Sujal Das, etc are not found mutilated to Xatyajit Nath, Xudip Dax, etc. Some of there hate to Vaishnava is visible in number of ways, Xusal, ...
