Thank you, Ram for being so nice to us.

The Telegraph is the only local press, and we do not even advertise in
it, who have been taking interest in what we are doing and featuring
them in their North east page occasionally. Before this particular
writeup, they talked to many of us, including gradauting students,
before putting up the story.

This year, the convocation went off very smoothly. It was run with
clockwork precision and was over within fiftyfive minutes, with the
usual rituals, handing over the diplomas, chanting of guru Vandana,
admnistering the dikshantopadesh etc. H.E. the Governor's speech was
short, to the point and very well delivered.

Amongst the local press, the Dainik Asom covered the evnt and gave the
Honourable Governor's speech front page prominence.

I am very happy that there are so many well wishers we have all over
the globe. I think our faculty is aware of the interest the NRAs take
on the AIM and hence have set their bench marks accordingly. We often
feel that it is the goodwill of others that is propelling us.
