Mamoni:  peace bid not to suffer

GUWAHATI, April 28:
  Reacting to the USA's inclusion of the ULFA in the list of  terrorist groups, noted Assamese writer Mamoni Raisom Goswami,  who is mediating to bring the ULFA boys to the negotiating  table, said that the US step would not affect her peace overtures.

Talking to The Sentinel  over telephone from New Delhi, she said: "We have nothing  to do with what the USA has done." Quoting e-mails of ULFA  chairman Arobindo Rajkhowa, she said that the ULFA was waiting  for the formal reply of the Union Government to its letter to  the Prime Minister.
