Yes,  they follow the US pattern and there are so many graduation ceremonies:
1: Graduating from Kindergarten
2: Graduating from Elementary School
3: Graduating from Junior High
4: Graduating from Senior High
5: Graduating from College (BA, BSc etc)
6: Graduating with an MA, MSc.
7: Graduating with a Ph.D.
 
Ceremonies are held for all of the above. 
I was not aware that they did away with the ceremonies at Indian Universities.
