My plan was to release the RC in july this year ... ?
There will be never a stabil version 2 with an even number at the end.

- even = dev
- odd = production

The first public release will be 2.0.1 1.0.0 - and I hope we'll get it
until end of this year.

Hi Thomas,

I understand the frustration, and I certainly hope you don't abandon
further development of ASSP, but you must understand that the EXTREMELY
rapid pace of development and rapid release of new dev versions, often
many times in one day (this is a GOOD thing so I'm not complaining!)
probably makes a lot of people reluctant to upgrade once they have
something working.

That said, while there are almost twice as many running older versions
than 0.5.24, there ARE 29 running newer versions. Also, not everyone who
uses ASSP uses the griplist...

This is very good, and will help a lot going forward!

One other thing - please don't take this the wrong way, its just my
opinion, but the slightly confusing and unconventional version numbering
scheme ASSP uses probably doesn't help. A perfect example is the subject
of this email - 'used V 2.0.1 versions'. How the heck can there be a
2.0.1 RC version when there has NEVER even been a stable 2.0.0 version
released? And having additional version numbers inside parenthesis is
confusing too, although I did get used to it.

Anyway, just something to think about...
