And a HUGE benefit, at least to admins like me would be to have an email sent when autoupdate does its thing. Email that a new version has been downloaded.
That way we don't get emails every 8 hours or whatever that a new version is available if we have it set in logre. This would give us ONE email every time a new version is downloaded. Is the function smart enough to know if a version has already been downloaded but not installed?
