> What do you expect to find? As I upgraded to 6.xx, I had not expected to see the restarts. They started and were evident in 6.03. The only clue about the reason was that I saw that several threads had stuck in Bayes. Perhaps there was some spam that the Bayes filter could not handle. All I can do is eliminate the variables. Hence, going through each version until I find the one that seems to be where the code change happened (assuming that this is due to a change in the code). If, after testing each version up to 6.03, the problem is no longer present, then I have to conclude that something in the incoming mail at the time of the restarts was causing them. This then points to the payload causing problems. If that turns out to be the case, I will have to find a way to find the offending payload to send to you to determine why it causes assp to restart. As noted above, the only lead I have is Bayes croaking....
> There must be something misconfigured on your system. Possibly, but I'd not made changes to the settings as I upgraded to 6.xx. I had no reason to do so. Perhaps upgrading did something to my settings, but I've not seen any history of that. > read the change log on Fitz's page. I'll take a look, but upgrading to new versions should not kill existing, working settings. Until I have more data, it's hard to tell which scenario above is the one in operation.
