Hi, could someone please help me out with this issue? I get this very often.. The mailsystem I'm using uses an ldapmapper.. I already increased the number of ldapmapper threads, but this doesn't solve anything.
There's an option which might help, but I'm not sure if I can change it since it seems to me (according to the text in the manpage) that sendmail relies on this.. From the manpage: Do not drop the connection if an instance’s LDAP server is not reachable. Sendmail recognizes a temporary failure to connect to an LDAP server by the connection being dropped rather than by some LDAP response code. Specify --no-drop for an MTA that treats the LDAP unavailable (52) response code as meaning a temporary failure to look up the name. Could anyone please point me into the right direction?
