Fritz: Thanks so much for chiming in! I've always been confused by this. When you have a moment, could you expand a bit from the basics? Let's just consider the spam folder. Say I have subject logging OFF (which I don't). MaxFiles set to 15,000. Say file #900 is erroneously marked as spam. It goes out in a report and the user catches the error. If before that happens, another file gets the 900 number, won't that file be gone, reguardless of the MaxKeepDeleted setting?? When a file gets deleted, does it instead get moved somewhere else? I don't see a folder for this. If it isn't moved, is it still considered during a rebuild? I'd think that what we'd need is a Minimum keep deleted, so that we're guaranteed that a file is kept for a minimum of x days before it's >>really<< deleted. Maximum guarantees that it won't be around longer than y days, but it doesn't imply that it wouldn't be deleted BEFORE then. See what I mean? Maybe it's just in the naming of the variable, and the functionality works as I'm wishing for? Again, I do not understand, which is why I'm asking. Also, Is there any sort of mechanism to stop the wrong file from being resent? Say an administrator catches this and does a resend. Seems like the new file 900 might get sent. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Assp-test mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/assp-test
