No - assp never sends NDR (no delivery report), it only replies with an
error code ('maxSizeError') - in this case the defautl is '552 ....'. The
sending server has to generate the NDR for the origin sender.
maxSizeError - should be set to a permanent error (5xx) - not a temp
errror (4xx) ! After a temp error the server may try again.
So there are three possible reasons.
1. the sending server works bad and sends again after a 5xx reply
2. you've set maxSizeError to 4xx
3. the origin sender sends the mail again and again and ....

I've seen it several times know where maxsize is exceeded but the sender
keeps sending and sending and sending. ASSP is sending a NDR right and
not
a retry later code to the sending server right?
It's definitely possible that the person sending just tries again, but it
seems like it's the sending server that's retrying.
