I was using Mailenable and had a Honeypot address configured (Same thing as
a Spam Collect address); I got most of the spam email from the Honeypot
inbox and some from the inboxes of my users. I also forwarded to myself as
attachments lots of old spam emails that my users had in their junk folder.
I saved all the spam to a folder on my desktop named spam. I also forwarded
to myself as attachments lots of ham emails from my users inboxed to myself
and saved them to a folder on my desktop named notspam. Once I had ASSP
configured, I moved all the spam emails to the spam folder in the ASSP
direcotry and all the ham emails to the notspam folder in the ASSP
directory. I then double clikced on rebuildspamdb.pl and a command prompt
came up with status info about the rebuild. Rebuild occured. Did I put
them in the right place or should I have put the spam in the errors/spam
directory and the ham in the errors/notspam directory? I'll write more
about my configuration tonight. I have to go to Cisco class right now.
