assp looks really good to me now. The only 2 things i'm missing (we already
discussed about those) are :
1) getting the reverse for the connecting ip and verify via regex (ie.
12.34.56.78 = 'c-68-47-30-116.hsd1.provider.net') so i can do a check like
for helo (ie.
^\d+\.\d+\.\d+\.\d+$|^[^\.]+\.?$|\d{1,3}(\.|-|x)\d{1,3}(\.|-|x)\d{1,3} )
2) and a RegEx *limited* to pre-data , so i can blacklist email addresses,
etc etc, without having to receive and analyze the spam message. I know i
can do a regex filter, bit checking just the headers would use less
system/internet resources and so be more efficient.
what do you think about my suggestions ?
