Pardon the lateness of this message but I felt this needed a reply. Technically he's not selling anything illegal. He sells his scripts that enable ASSP integration into cpanel. I've already looked at the files he provides for download and they are not altered. http://www.grscripts.com/assp/assp.tar.gz The version in this archive(as of this message) is 1.3.2(14) I compared it to the one I have in subversion and they are identical. Other than using the ASSP name, which I imagine is copyright John Hanna, he's not doing anything illegal or that violates the GPL.(as far as I know) Though he should have asked politely IMHO, and yeah donations would be nice too. Based on the number of IPs he claims it's installed on, I would guess he's made over $25,000 US, this is assuming that everyone opted for the 15$ scripts license and not the 60$ install service, and since the domain was registered on 2007/1/16 I don't think anyone is using the 8$ a year subscription.
