Kevin,

Hmmm, that is a good question. I am running ASSP 1.2.5. During the
1.2.5/1.2.6 time frame there were several people on Windows that were having
ASSP hang issues, myself included. There were several people testing that
issue, with some reporting NET::DNS as the location where ASSP was hanging.
I examined ASSP logs and DNS logs and determined that ASSP/NET::DNS was
waiting for a response from the DNS server. I installed DNS on the mail
server, pointed all mail server related DNS requests at that name server. I
then modified the registry entries as I indicated earlier. At the time, I
reported the issue and the solution to the list. No one commented on it. No
one suggested that ASSP had timeout settings that would resolve the issue.
Did I miss something here?
