another service is running or I'm not root (uid=0)?
Aug-15-07 23:55:29 Listening for mail connections at 25 and admin
connections at 55555
Aug-15-07 23:55:29 Starting
Aug-15-07 23:55:34 Unable to connect to Griplist server

My problem is that there is no other program blocking the 25 or 55555 ports.
i check that with netstat. (im running assp on a windows machine with hMail
mailserver).

I tried to start the service with the system account (the default when
adding the service) and with the administrator account. i changed it from
startasservice=1 to 0 and started it directly from the command prompt.

i dont have any idea anymore what else i could check.

ah: i am using active perl 5.8.8 (build 822). I upgraded to this version
after the problem. before I used build 820.

Any ideas? Should I post any other log or something?

Thanks for help!!

Florian

PS: i tried to send this to the mailinglist already without success. so if
this is twice: sorry!
