Yea. Because uptime usually relates to the computer itself, and not an individual application. But if you take that "standard definition" and apply it to an application, and you have how long an app has been running since it was started.
Don't believe me, go hit the bricks and poll some system administrators. You think I like getting into ridiculous semantical arguments with these people? Its annoying as all hell, but I simply don't abide by this projects misuse of terminology.
Its been confusing enough for people over the years. Try to maintain the wiki documentation and you'll understand my gripe.
