Why would you be under pressure? The main features of ASSP which block the vast majority of spam are greylisting and bayesian filtering, in my experience. Penalty box and forged HELO blocking also help. Although the amount of forged HELO blocked went down to almost 0 after enabling greylisting. Anything else mostly just adds a few 0.x% of spam blocked, hardly worth the effort if you ask me. All those features can be found in older ASSP versions. I believe penalty box was introduced in 1.3.x.
