or (better imVHo) use the DNS to solve the issue; let's say the
mailserver
domain is example.com, now, on the "local" DNS (the one used by the
mailserver for resolution), add a DNS zone "assp.example.com" and
just add two records to the zone, an A record pointing to the ASSP box
and an MX record pointing to the above A record, this way the mailserver
will route any message for [email protected] to the
ASSP box using the standard SMTP routing and without the need to setup
any particular "forward" on the mailserver ;-)
