i posted a new thread about this but
basically ASSP in front of the GWIA MTA (2 boxes total)
ASSP on debian linux, pub inftc, prv intfc, iptables (not filtering port
25).
Assp ListenPort:publicip:25
Assp DEstination:privateip:125
Assp RelayPort: eth0:125
Assp RelayHost: ISP smtp host dns
Assp LocalDomains:regular domain and assp.local
Gwia:port setting is for both send and receive = 125
Default gateway on GWIA MTA box = private ip of ASSP box
GWIA MTA itself uses no relay options, i assume the TCP/IP default gateway
to the priv side of ASSP box takes care of the routing.

mail flows fine
just no auto whitelist nor email intface
emails to [email protected] get bounced back from the GWIA MTA

maybe i NEED to let the GWIA MTA use the ISP itself, but GWIA can only SEND
on 125, same as listening port

maybe returning all back to port 25
just found that nice little ListenPort option: pubipaddress:25
i was getting mail routing loops before

let me check this first
internet -->(25)ASSP(125)-->GWIA
GWIA(125)-->(125)ASSP(
