Hi There,
We have heard about ASSP and would love to use
it in our Secondary College. Before I roll it out to my 2 schools, I want to
make it work at home first.I am running windows 2008 r2, ASSP version
I have been trying to get this going for around 1 month & hitting a brick
wall towards the end.
I have tired to follow the document but no luck I installed exchange 2010,
assp, mail enable on the same server which is windows 2008 r2

Exchange: 10.5.5.21
Relay: 10.5.5.20
ASSP: 10.5.5.19

These ip addresses are all my nics & created dns records for
Them I make a script to ran assp since I cant get the win32
daemon working for windows 2008 r2. I have to manually log into the server &
remain logged in & start the assp script to get it working
Do you know of any 64 daemon for perl but that¹s not my main
problem

My domain is tgh.guava but my mail server is tgh.net.au
I created a forward lookup zone in dns & it worked fine
using mx records

ASSP Setup:
----------------------
SMTP Listen Port: 10.5.5.19:25
SMTP Destination: 10.5.5.21:125
Relay Host: 10.5.5.19:125
Relay port: 10.5.5.21: 325
My name: assp.tgh.guava
Not apart of the documentation but in accept all mail:
127.0.0.1|10.5.5.19|10.5.5.20|10.5.5.21|203.219.210.64|exchange.tgh.guava|re
lay.tgh.guava|assp.tgh.guava

Exchange 2010:
---------------------------
Server Configuration, Hub transport, receive connectors
1)Default Exchange: FQDN: exchange.tgh.guava / network tab:
10.5.5.21 port 125 / authentication tab: all ticks expect
for enable domain security ( mutual auth tls) & externally
secured / permission groups: all ticks expect for partners
2) FDQN: exchange.tgh.guava / 10.5.5.19 port 125 /
authentication tab same as above / permission group: same as
above
3) Organization configuration: hub transport, send
connector, assp oubtound: 10.5.5.19 port 325 / route mail
through smart host: assp.tgh.guava & ticked use the external
dns lookup settings on the transport server, smart host
authentication: none
fqdn: assp.tgh.guava

MTA

Problem
---------------

1)I can login by owa & send internal & external in my domain
When I send out: sits in exchange message que with error:
451 4.4 0 dns query failed: the error was smtpsend. Dns
mxloopback; dns records for this domain are configured in a
[loop cant send anything externally

2) According to the documentation: Outbound mail exchange from
192.160.3 port 325 -> assp listens on 192.168.0.2 port 325 &
relays to 192.168.0.1 port 125. There is no reference to put
listening port in assp s 192.168.0.2 port 325 & in assp how
does it know to relay to mta if there is no reference.
3) When sending emails from my work account it accepts it
but rejects it 30% of the time get 550 no relaying allowed.
When I send from hotmail or gmail always rejects

Can you please help me I know im missing something small

FIX
-----
* The only way I can receive email is to tick skip local domain check
Now all emails can send to my email domain.

* I changed the smtp connector back to mx
