I feel pretty stupid replying to myself...

From what I have found online there is no support for IPv6 in ASSP,
neither is it planned as of now.

I found this email:

IPv6 is disabled because there is currently no upgrade path to ASSP V2.
ASSP Version 2 (which is published) does not contain support for IPv6.
We try to keep ASSP V1 and V2 synchronyzed as much as possible.

Is this still the case?
If so, why? Could someone explain the logic of not supporting IPv6? I am
not trying some flame war here, I am genuinely concerned about the lack
of IPv6 in ASSP.

I found a port here though: http://opal.com/jr/freebsd/ports/mail/assp/
which has IPv6 support, but it's version 1.5.1.2_2

I guess I'll have to stick with running this on my IPv6 interface. Maybe
I could update a current version myself.

Greetings,
Jeroen
