Replying to myself... but I noticed a problem. If I specifically set the smtp listen port to an ipv6 address plus port, i.e. 2001:db8::1:25, it works, but if I set it to just "25" the comments in enable ipv6 support state it should then listen on both ipv4 and ipv6 but instead it only listens on ipv4. Maybe I am missing something obvious?
