ASSP version 2.5.5(17073) cPanel/Exim Server> ASSP Server> outgoing SMTP/Postfix Server
Running ASSP on its own server with MX records pointing to it. I'm using it to filter spam for a separate cPanel/Exim server and have set the Smart-host on the cPanel server to use the ASSP relay port, 225. Everything works well except for local domain users who email each other at their different local domains. It appears that the local mail is passed to the ASSP server, then to our outgoing Postfix server, and from there some sort of mail loop occurs.
I'm used to our Windows servers with MailEnable where local mail routes internally and never hits the ASSP server. I assumed Exim would do the same?!
