Comparing github and sourceforge, I can't find any advantage using github
for the assp project.
There are simply too many things (tasks) running at the SF servers in
background for the assp project. Moving them to any other provider would
be very complex and alot of work (without any advantage). It is also
unclear to me, if any other provider offers the same services for free.
Also - the 2017 ToS of github may be problematic.

Have you considered moving to like Github? You could
create
like a ASSP organization and then have different projects for the
various modules and do releases with versions there. In addition to say
github.com/assp/assp, organization/project. A good deal of projects
organization name is the name of the main project.
Sourceforge would need to remain for mailing list
purposes. But
all else could be moved over. Including website, etc via github pages.
You may see more contributions on Github if you accept PRs etc. Maybe a
better place to handle issues etc. Just something for consideration.
Its moot to me. Just thought I would mention it. Thanks for the
