You may also use a second sound card. This means that you can set the
ring to the speakers , and the phone audio to a separate headset
connected to its own sound card. Xlite/xpro allows you to select
separate sound devices for ringing and call audio

office but does not want to use headsets for these reasons:
1. Can't hear the phone ring unless the headset is permanently attached
2. Too cumbersome to remember to unplug headset from speaker jack each
time user leaves his desk
3. Do not want to have to change user behavior too much with the new
system
