Just wondering... Who pays for the Internet Loop? At 13.10 per trunk
is 2 x more than TDM unless it include bandwidth too
For example on GBX, I paid 161.00 per T1 x 3 = 483.00 - Using 13.10 x
72 = $943
The rate is a bit better, but saving is lost in trunk charges.

There is no monthly usage commitment. The rates are volume based. The

Saipan, Puerto Rico, USVI).Intrastate rates vary.
Global Crossing currently has a promotion for SIP trunks. The current
promotional rate is $ 13.10 per SIP trunk.

I'm going to have to take back all the nice things I said about
Isphone, they are total crap.

So you want another company to manage the TDM -> SIP conversion but
you still want to be in charge of the trunks.
I think probably your best bet is to find a managed co-location
provider -- you obtain the TDM trunks and they will manage the servers
and SIP or whatnot. I am sure such a thing exsists but you will have
to search for someone that is very knowledgeable and pick them with care.
Besides that, I can recommend ISPhone -- www. isphone.net
<http://www.isphone.net> -- we have been using them for a while and
never had a problem, always friendly to deal with and I can't really
recall having an open service issue beyond 24hrs.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I have a twist.
I currently answer almost 60-80 800 numbers from Global Crossing (GBX)
that arrive on 7 TDM T1's.
I'm looking for some options to 'host' these 800's and have the call be
presented via SIP.
I like the keep control of these numbers and not 'Port' them somewhere
if possible.
I'd be willing to relocate these T1's to the 'host' but what I was
hoping for is to
find a Carrier that could deliver these calls directly using a company
such as Qwest or GBX,
thus removing the 'middle man'.
And frankly, it's hard to trust many of the 800 voip Providers I find on
the net. Can anyone point me to a
company that you'd trust that could accomplish my goals?
